Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, the Honourable Phillip Watts, welcomed World Championship 400m silver medalist Jereem Richards during a courtesy call at the Ministry’s headquarters today.
Minister Watts stated in a social media post that their “discussion centered on advancing national sport development initiatives and exploring upcoming plans to further support elite athlete performance and youth engagement in athletics.”
Accompanying the meeting were Mr. Colin Borde, Sports Advisor to the Minister, and Mr. Jason Williams, Chief Executive Officer of the Sport Company of Trinidad and Tobago.
