Monday 26th January 2026 is Budget Day in Guyana.
The announcement reportedly comes from Senior Minister in the Office of the President with Responsibility for Finance, Dr. Ashni Singh.
It will be the first national budget since the PPP/C’s re-election to office.
The Finance Ministry says it is expected to serve as the operational blueprint for the party’s manifesto and fulfil promises made during the 2025 election campaign.
According to Dr Singh, the manifesto outlined a comprehensive agenda for creating a Guyana full of opportunities, with a commitment to human development and prosperity.
