Jack Warner is threatening legal action against former Attorney General Faris-Al-Rawi.
This as Mr Al Rawi continues to publicly comment on Mr Warner’s ongoing extradition matter.
Referring to the public commentary as bordering on defamation, Mr Warner says it is untimely, inappropriate and may affect his rights to a fair hearing.
At an Opposition media briefing yesterday, Mr Al-Rawi said the alleged interference in this matter could potentially harm all extraditions to the US.
Earlier this week, Attorney General John Jeremie launched an investigation into his predecessor’s handling of the extradition request for the former FIFA Vice President.
