India has opened talks with Venezuela’s acting president, in a push to expand bilateral ties.
According to India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Delcy Rodríguez about plans to further expand and deepen the India-Venezuela partnership in all areas.
This includes cooperation in trade and investment, energy, digital technology, health, agriculture, and people-to-people exchanges.
Both leaders also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest, underscoring the importance of close cooperation for the Global South.
