The ICC says it will replace Bangladesh at T20 World Cup if the team refuses to travel to India for its matches.
The ultimatum was given during a meeting convened today.
ESPN Cricinfo says the ICC has given the BCB one more day to confer with the Bangladesh government on the matter.
If they stick to their refusal, they will be replaced with Scotland.
Cricinfo says the majority of directors present at the meeting voted in favour of a replacement if Bangladesh didn’t budge.
Of the 15 directors present, only Pakistan reportedly backed the BCB.
Regarding the refusal to travel to India, the BCB has cited security concerns due to ongoing political tension between Bangladesh and India.
