Legal Affairs Minister Saddam Hosein is praising the majority of citizens for obeying the new fireworks regulations, while issuing a warning to the few who didn’t.
Hosein noted that while compliance was high, some residents still decided to set off explosives once it got dark, disrupting the peace.
Citing reports coming into the public hotline, the Minister says the government is prepared to do what is necessary to maintain safety in the neighbourhoods.
