Shai Hope was celebrated before the West Indies took the field on the opening day of the 1st Test at Christchurch on Monday.
The 32-year-old was playing in his 250th international game for the West Indies, and his 44th Test match.
Head coach Darren Sammy congratulated the Barbadian batsman just before the team took the field.
