The Health Ministry has issued an immediate recall of Rosabella Moringa capsules by Ambrosia Brands.
The recall, first announced by the company in early February, follows reports from the US linking the capsules to drug-resistant Salmonella infections.
Symptoms of Salmonella infection include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps, which can be severe for the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.
The Ministry has advised that persons who have purchased or currently have these capsules should stop using them immediately and return the product to the place of purchase.
