The Ministry of Health is reaffirming its commitment to science-driven decision-making in shaping national health policies.
In a message marking World Health Day and the 78th anniversary of the World Health Organization, the Ministry said science remains central to protecting people, animals and the environment.
It highlighted ongoing partnerships, including with the Caribbean Public Health Agency, and announced its upcoming “Step Into Wellness” campaign.
CARPHA is also urging stronger regional disease surveillance, warning that food borne illnesses continue to impact Caribbean populations and economies.
