The Health Ministry is countering claims that statistical reports have not been published since 2011.
Responding to a Sunday Express opinion piece, it clarified that Annual Reports from 2011 to 2023 have been completed and laid in Parliament, adding that the 2024 report is being finalized.
Minister Dr Lackram Bodoe acknowledged the existing challenges and pledged to remain resolute in the Ministry’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare to all citizens.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to public healthcare, noting recent initiatives by Minister Dr. Lackram Bodoe, including extended clinic hours and a review of the CDAP program.
It welcomed the contribution of international medical missions, adding that these initiatives complement the extensive services already available through the public healthcare system.
