UTT has been presented with the academic licences for the Landmark Technology Holdings Incorporation Petroleum Engineering Software Suite.
The donation was made by global engineering services company, Halliburton, through its University Grant Programme.
According to the University, access to the suite will significantly enhance its teaching and research capabilities by providing students with hands-on experience using industry-standard tools widely used across the global energy sector.
Commenting on the donation was Ricardo Alvares, Landmark Country Manager, Halliburton, who said the company is committed to building a partnership not only with the University, but with the next generation of professionals.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the UTT Board of Directors, Professor Selwyn Cudjoe, said it will ensure “our students have access to the tools, knowledge and experiences they will need to contribute meaningfully to our country and to the world.”
