President Mohamed Irfaan Ali is set to represent Guyana at the historic Shield of the Americas Summit, hosted by Donald Trump in Doral on March 7.
The meeting will bring together leaders from 12 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean to discuss security, migration and the fight against drug cartels.
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar of Trinidad and Tobago is the only other Caribbean leader expected to attend.
