Speaking at the Guyana Prison Service Annual Senior Correctional Officers conference, he emphasized addressing the root causes of crime, including trauma and gang influence among youth.
Dr. Ali called for coordinated efforts with religious groups, civil society, and community leaders to support at-risk children and provide early interventions to build safer communities.
