Police recovered two illegal firearms and made one arrest during anti-crime operations in Manzanilla and Biche yesterday.
In Manzanilla, officers targeted four known drug blocks, where they recovered a Venezuelan-made shotgun and ammunition from an abandoned structure.
In a separate incident, a 62-year-old man was arrested for possession of apparatus.
A similar operation in Biche led to the seizure of a homemade shotgun in Oliver Trace, Cushe.
