Police recovered a Beretta pistol and over 50 rounds of ammunition during anti-crime operations in the Western and Port of Spain Divisions on Monday.
This was part of exercises targeting illegal firearms and ammunition.
The operations, led by senior officers under the SoE Regulations, targeted high-risk areas including Fort George, Cocorite, and Laventille.
