NTA Leader Gary Griffith

Former National Security Minister Gary Griffith has dismissed what he calls “unfortunate and troubling” comments made by Minister Roger Alexander in today’s Guardian.

Griffith says his recent statements on radar capability were factual and based on his experience, not political.

He accused Alexander of attacking individuals instead of addressing national security concerns.

Mr Griffith added that the Minister’s responses show a pattern of defensiveness and an inability to handle scrutiny.

He maintained that his position on radar deficiencies remains unchanged, saying his only priority is the safety of Trinidad and Tobago.
