A 43-year old fruit vendor was gunned down in front Food Basket in Mount Hope last night.
Around 8:33pm, Jerome Joseph was near his stall in the carpark on the north-western side of the supermarket, when several loud explosions were heard.
Persons were sent scampering and Joseph was later found with gunshot wounds to the head and body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
