One man and three women are in custody following a sting operation by Western Division police yesterday.
The operation followed a report of robbery with violence and demanding money by menaces.
Police say a man was robbed of his vehicle and personal items on January 17th while driving along Cuthbert Circular in Diego Martin.
The suspects later contacted him, demanding cash for the return of the vehicle.
Acting on intelligence, officers set up an operation along at Four Roads, along the Diego Martin Main Road.
During a controlled exchange of cash, police intervened and detained a 39-year-old man of Beard Street, Maraval.
Three additional suspects were also detained, and all were taken, along with evidence, to the St. James Police Station.
