Former Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Amery Browne is warning Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar that she could one day face accountability before the International Criminal Court.
Speaking at a news conference on Tuesday at the Opposition Leader’s office, Dr. Browne drew comparisons to former Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, who has been investigated by the ICC.
He cautioned that some leaders believe they can say or do anything to please their supporters without facing future consequences.
