The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) seized a firearm, narcotics, and ammunition during targeted anti-crime operations across the Western, North Central, and Tobago Divisions this week.

In the Western Division, officers searching Petit Valley discovered a Smith & Wesson revolver in an abandoned building.

A separate search in St. James led to cannabis being recovered from a drain.

The operation was led by Supt. Gyan and W/ASP (Ag.) Aguilleria under the supervision of Snr. Supt. Williams.

In North Central, officers, assisted by the Canine Unit, found over 8 kilograms of cannabis, cocaine, and 14 cartons of cigarettes hidden in abandoned structures in Maracas/St. Joseph. ACP Singh oversaw the exercise.

Meanwhile, Tobago Divisional Task Force officers seized eleven 12-gauge cartridges in Golden Lane.

Operations in all divisions are ongoing as police continue investigations.
