The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service has seized multiple firearms and ammunition during coordinated overnight anti-crime operations under Emergency Powers Regulations 2025 and Operation Festive Shield.

Between 10 p.m. on November 17th and 5 a.m. on November 18th, officers recovered a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver, a Taurus Brasil revolver, a black-and-silver revolver, and various rounds of ammunition.

A 43-year-old man of Quarry Road, San Juan, was arrested for possession of firearm and ammunition.

The TTPS says intelligence-led operations, high-visibility patrols, and targeted exercises remain ongoing, urging the public to report suspicious activity via 999 or 555 to help reduce gun violence and serious crime.
