Finance Minister Dave Tancoo is currently attending the Board of Directors and Audit Committee meetings hosted by the CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, in Panama.
The meetings will review the 2026 Program of Activities and Budget, discuss credit operations, and make decisions on share allocations for Haiti and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The Board will also confirm Barbados’ transition to full membership, joining Trinidad and Tobago as the only CARICOM countries with full membership.
Minister Tancoo, who chairs CAF, has been accompanied by Senior Debt Analyst Jimmy Wong.
