A well-known female cricketer from Cedros was murdered at her home on Tuesday.
Twenty-eight year old Rashme Deoajit was found in her room with stab wounds to her body.
Police are reportedly searching for a man who was close to Deoajit, who was known in the community for her talent and dedication.
She was a part of the Cedros Secondary School team that won the Girls Open T20 title in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
