A pole obstruction was the reason for the sudden opening and subsequent closure of the Priority Bus Route early this morning.
This reportedly happened along the west-bound lane of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in the vicinity of Macoya.
Transport Minister Eli Zakour confirmed the details with 103.1FM News via Whatsapp this morning, when asked about the sudden opening and closing of the PBR.
A notice issued after 6AM today, granted access to all vehicles to use the route however a subsequent release advised that normal operations would resume promptly at 8AM, with neither citing reasons.
