Evolving TecKnologies and Enterprise Development Company, or eTeck, is now under the oversight of Minister Saddam Hosein.
The President, acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, removed the responsibility for eTeck from Trade Minister Satyakama Maharaj, effective March 12th, 2026.
The move is aimed at better coordinating land management with enterprise and technology development, ensuring these sectors are managed under a single ministry for greater efficiency.
The transition centers on eTeck’s 2,915 hectares of land, including 22 industrial parks, the Tamana InTech Park, and properties like the Magdalena Grand and Hilton Trinidad.
