The Ministry of Energy has reported a meeting with two major players in the upstream and energy services sector to further opportunities for collaboration and future opportunities.
Dr Roodal Moonilal and Ernesto Kesar led a Ministry of Energy delegation that met with executives from Halliburton and Noble Corporation on Monday.
The chief executives of both companies updated the Ministry team on ongoing projects in Trinidad and the wider Caribbean and Latin American region.
Halliburton is the world’s second largest oilfield services company, while Noble Corporation is a leading offshore drilling contractor for the oil and gas industry.
During the meeting, the Energy Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a stable and competitive investment climate to support sustainable growth in Trinidad and Tobago’s energy industry.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries’ head office at the International Waterfront Complex in Port of Spain.
Company executives, including Halliburton CEO Jeff Miller and Noble Corporation CEO Robert Eifler, provided updates on ongoing projects in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Latin American and Caribbean region.
