The EBC says it is ready to receive nomination papers tomorrow, December 19th, for the 2026 Tobago House of Assembly elections.
Responding to 103.1FM News, Chief Election Officer Fern Narcis said several prospective candidates have already used the pre-examination process to ensure their submissions meet statutory requirements.
She assured the public that all arrangements are in place for a smooth, transparent, and orderly nomination process.
Nominations will be filed at four locations – Lambeau and Buccoo multipurpose facilities for Tobago West, and Glamorgan and Calder Hall multipurpose facilities for Tobago East.
Election Day has been set for January 12, across 15 electoral districts.
