A deadly fire in northern Hong Kong has killed 13 people so far and injured more than a dozen.
Al Jazeera News reported that the Fire Services Department said nine people were declared dead at the scene and four sent to hospital were later confirmed dead.
The blaze, which broke out in a complex with 2,000 apartments and nearly 5,000 people, has been upgraded to a level five alarm, the highest level, with several residents still reportedly trapped inside.
More than 700 firefighters, 400 police officers, 128 fire engines and 57 ambulances have been deployed to the scene.
