Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations) and Gold Commander for Carnival 2026, Suzette Martin, along with Assistant Commissioner Hazel and Superintendent Baird, visited panyard judging activities under the Panyard/Communities Competition on 28 February.

The visit underscored the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service’s commitment to community policing, support for cultural spaces, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and vibrant Carnival season.

“The panyard is more than a rehearsal space; it is a community hub — a place of discipline, creativity, and unity,” DCP Martin said.

During the visit, officers interacted with pan musicians, organisers, judges, and community members, commending their professionalism, teamwork, and dedication.

The TTPS expressed thanks to Pan Trinbago, panyard organisers, and communities for their continued partnership in keeping Carnival safe while preserving Trinidad and Tobago’s rich cultural heritage.
