Defending Junior Calypso Monarch, Xhaiden Darius, will sing in position three in the Primary Schools’ Category at the 2026 Junior Soca Competition on February 10.
The draw for positions was staged on Monday, and Darius, 9, of Savonetta Primary School pulled number three.
Meanwhile, Zachary Ransome will make his debut in the Secondary Schools Category of the competition, singing in position five.
The Presentation College (San Fernando) student won the Primary School Category Crown in 2024 and 2025 as a student of Montrose Government Primary School.
