Boards of Directors have officially been appointed for the subsidiaries of Trinidad Petroleum Holdings Limited.
The companies are Heritage Petroleum Company Limited, Paria Fuel Trading Company Limited, and Guaracara Refining Company Limited.
Energy Minister Dr Roodal Moonilal emphasized the critical role of the new appointees in the national energy landscape, for the country to re-emerge as the energy hub of the Caribbean.
He called on the appointees to bring their expertise and leadership to improve operational efficiency, and ensure accountability and transparency across all subsidiaries.
The Ministry will continue to provide oversight and policy direction to ensure that the companies contribute to national development while upholding the principles of good corporate governance.
The Letters of Appointment were officially issued yesterday at the Ministry’s Head Office.
