President of the Barbados Cricket Association, Calvin Hope, has slammed Cricket West Indies for excluding Kensington Oval from its 2026 international schedule.
No Tests, ODIs or T20s will be played in Barbados, with matches instead set for Jamaica, Antigua, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
Hope called the move “extremely disappointing,” arguing fans are being denied live cricket.
He warned that cutting regional competitions could harm the future competitiveness of West Indies cricket.
