Trinidad and Tobago started their Concacaf U17 qualification campaign with a 1-0 loss to Barbados on Tuesday at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
Adam King’s 75th minute goal sealed a shock win for the Barbados team.
In the other match on the night, Saint Martin defeated Sint Maarten 3-0.
T&T take on Saint Martin in their next game on Thursday.
Only the group winners qualify for the FIFA U17 World Cup.
