The Auditor General’s report on the Heritage and Stabilisation Fund for the year ending September 30th, 2025 will be tabled in the Lower House during today’s sitting.
The Finance Minister will move that the report be referred to the Public Accounts Committee for review.
Debate is also expected to resume on motions previously adjourned, including for the House to urge Government to reaffirm its commitment to CARICOM and international law.
Another motion asks the Government to clearly explain its policy on deploying armed police officers in 50 schools, including details on the officers’ roles, and whether the initiative addresses the root causes of school violence.
