The astronauts onboard Nasa’s Artemis II has set a new record for the furthest distance humans have travelled from the Earth.
They have broken the previous record of 248,655 miles set by the Apollo 13 crew in 1970.
The 10-day voyage is the first time in more than half a century that humans have left Earth orbit.
The four astronauts are flying around the Moon – they will not land on the moon’s surface, but will instead loop around its far side and back again.
New record🥇
