The APT James has become the first vessel to be serviced on the AMT Goliath.
The Goliath is the country’s new semi-submersible heavy-lifting dock, which is equipped to support advanced ship services.
The APT James, which is one of the country’s three fast ferries, is undergoing its five-year warranty dry docking.
The work on the fast ferry commenced on Friday and it is doe to resume operations on 21 December.
Senior officials of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, including Ian Ramdahin, Permanent Secretary and Ronald Alfred, Deputy Permanent Secretary, and representatives at the National Marine Maintenance Services Company Limited witnessed the service work on Friday.
