Prime Minister Gaston Browne has announced that general elections in Antigua and Barbuda will be held on April 30.
Speaking at a rally Tuesday night, Browne said Nomination Day is set for April 13, following the issuing of the election writ by Governor General Rodney Williams.
He urged supporters to deliver a clean sweep for the ruling Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party across all 17 constituencies.
The election is expected to be closely contested with the opposition United Progressive Party.
