The 2026 National Calypso Monarch will compete for $1 million and a brand-new car courtesy of Lifestyle Motors.
TUCO President Ainsley King announced the prizes during the Dimanche Gras draw, where finalists also picked their performance order.
“We announced at the semifinal draw that the first prize will me one million TT dollars. We have decided from then to now that it will also have a car from Lifestyle Motors added to that one million dollars,” King said.
The winner will be crowned this Sunday at Queen’s Park Savannah.
The order of appearance at the caylpsonians at the Dimanche Gras show is:
