Two Venezuelan nationals were arrested as police seized a quantity of uncustomed goods in Santa Flora.
The items included alcoholic beverages, pepper sauce, clothing, footwear, and a container of cheese.
Around 4:10pm yesterday, officers stopped a silver Nissan Primera near a bar in the area.
In the vehicle were two Venezuelan men, ages 28 and 21, who were able produce any travel documents when requested.
The goods were found in the vehicle and taken to the Siparia Police Station for safekeeping.
The TTPS says customs officials were contacted regarding the items, while the men were arrested on suspicion of being illegal immigrants.
