Two men were gunned down in separate incidents.
In Petit Valley, 32-year-old Jerome Olliver was shot dead around 8:25pm yesterday.
He was liming with friends at the corner of Simeon Road and Sparrow Drive when a gunman exited a silver wagon and fired several shots.
Olliver was hit several times and died at the scene.
Several hours later around 10:45pm, 27-year-old Kwami Huyghew was shot in the vicinity of a shop at Lovell Street in Tunapuna.
After hearing loud explosions, residents in the area found the victim suffering from gunshot injuries while seated in the back seat of a car.
He was taken for medical treatment where he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.
