Two Haitian police officers were killed by gang members in Kenscoff, near the capital Port-au-Prince, as gang violence continues to spiral.
The officers were ambushed after their armored vehicle got stuck in a ditch. Videos posted online showed gangs displaying seized weapons and equipment.
The attack follows the killing of three other officers last month. The UN says over 1,500 people were killed in Haiti between April and June, with most deaths linked to gangs. A UN-backed security mission led by Kenya remains understrength and underfunded, as the humanitarian crisis deepens.
