Zimbabwe defeated Oman by eight wickets with 39 balls to spare in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Colombo on Monday.
Oman had set a modest target of 104, finishing their innings at 103 all out in just 13.3 overs.
Zimbabwe chased it down comfortably, scoring 106 for 2.
Brian Bennett was the star with a 48-run knock off 36 balls, while Sikandar Raza contributed a quick 5 not out.
Blessing Muzarabani was named Player of the Match after an impressive bowling spell, taking 3 wickets for just 16 runs.
The win gives Zimbabwe two points in Group B, keeping them strong in the early stages of the tournament.
Oman will need to regroup as the competition moves forward.
