Over 28,000 people applied for jobs at the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure during the Government’s National Recruitment Drive in October, making it one of the most in-demand ministries.

MOWI is filling 1,100 vacancies across technical and operational roles, with about 6,800 applicants seeking labourer positions alone.

A mass screening exercise runs until November 21st, as the Ministry prepares to deploy its first batch of successful labourer candidates on December 1st, starting with a probation period.

Those who pass will be posted to District Offices nationwide to support upcoming priority infrastructure projects.
