Works Minister Jearlean John was on site at Point Fortin earlier on Wednesday.
She was visiting locations the community along with technical teams from the Ministry.
She is joined by MP Ernesto Kesar, Cedros Councillor Shankar Teelucksingh, and representatives from the Point Fortin Taxi Drivers Association, who are providing first-hand insight into the road and drainage issues affecting commuters.
The Minister says the team is focusing on road rehabilitation and drainage improvements, assessing conditions and reviewing priority interventions directly on the ground.
