Police are investigating the discovery of a woman’s body in a bushy area off the M2 Ring Road in La Romaine.
The Trinidad Express reported that the unidentified woman, believed to be a migrant, was found around 8:15 Wednesday morning by a man operating a tractor.
Officers say her right hand had been severed and her body was located about 20 feet off the roadway.
The District Medical Officer ordered the body removed to the San Fernando General Hospital for a post-mortem, as investigations continue.
