The PTSC says an internal review has been initiated, following a horrific incident in which a woman’s arm was crushed by a bus.
The Corporation says the incident occurred on the San Fernando/Guayaguayare service, in the vicinity of Palmyra.
A video circulating online shows the woman slipping and falling as she was getting off the bus.
The vehicle then begins to drive off, rolling over her arm and narrowly missing her head.
She was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital for treatment.
The PTSC has declined to give any further information saying this is “in keeping with due process and out of respect for the investigative process”.
