Well Services Limited has ended efforts to recover the remains of employee Pete Phillip, who was lost at sea following the collapse of Rig 110 on December 22, 2024.
A salvage and recovery operation involving local and international experts began in January last year, but despite exhaustive searches under difficult conditions, the company says Mr. Phillip’s remains were not found.
Well Services Limited says all search options have now been exhausted and the decision has been communicated to Mr. Phillip’s family.
The company extended condolences and reaffirmed its commitment to providing ongoing support to his immediate family.
