Three key water supply facilities in Tobago are back in operation following recent vandalism.

THA’s Chief Secretary Farley Augustine described the theft of power cables at four WASA wells as “borderline domestic terrorism.”

The acts took place between 4 pm on Friday and 2 am on Saturday, leaving 17 areas on the island without a consistent water supply.

WASA says three have been been fully repaired, with service restored.

Works at Bloody Bay Well #1 are nearing completion, and in the meantime, truck-borne water is being supplied to affected residents.
