Acting President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, has visited the historic Church of Our Lady of Candelaria in Caracas as part of efforts to restore key cultural and religious sites.
During the visit, officials inspected the church, which houses the remains of revered figure José Gregorio Hernández, and discussed ongoing restoration work aimed at preserving the country’s heritage.
The tour forms part of a wider government push to revitalize social and spiritual centres across the nation.
Rodríguez also called on citizens to embrace prayer and unity as the country prepares for Holy Week.
