The Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine, will visit Trinidad and Tobago on November 25th for high-level talks with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
The discussions will focus on strengthening the long-standing partnership between both nations, with emphasis on regional security, stability, and joint efforts to combat illicit trafficking and transnational criminal networks.
General Caine, the United States’ highest-ranking military officer, previously served at the CIA and is a veteran F-16 command pilot with more than 2,800 flight hours.
His visit signals continued U.S.–Caribbean cooperation at a critical moment for regional unity.
